  • The research was conducted in July-October 2016 on tidal swamp land, Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago, Banyuasin, South Sumatra.. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the growth and production of several accessions of corn plants as a result of repeated phenotype selection. The research used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) nested, consisting of 5 groups. Data analysis was carried out using diversity analysis (ANOVA) followed by a 5% BNT test. This research generally shows that Unsri-J1 corn accession to Unsri-J8 can grow and produce well in tidal land with an average plant height of 207.84-215.72 cm, flowering at the age of 43- 46 days, and production potential from 6.8 to 8.1 tons of dry shell / ha. Among the accessions of maize tested, accession of unsri-J5, Unsri-J7 and Unsri-J8 corn has better growth and production potential than other accessions of corn with a potential of 8 tons of dry shelled / ha.
