- The Palembang Darussalam culture stillhas a strong connection with the people of Palembang city today. According to the connection, the Palembang Darussalam culture is worthy of being preserved and further developed by Palembang citizen nowadays, especially the young generation. This activity is following the plan and work strategy of the Palembang City Culture and Tourism Office in 2018. However, due to inadequate facilities in some Palembang Darussalam cultural objects being obstacles to this activity can be realized. The planning and design of the Palembang Darussalam Cultural Centre are expected to overcome this problem. Concwptualizing the Infill Architecture can produce an innovative and attractive cultural centre oriented towards existing cultural object and equipped with other cultural facilities which are expected to echance Palembang Darussalam’s Cultural preservation and development activities and support the character of the region.
