  • This study aims to produce audio-visual media, namely in the form of powtoon video media on classical services with material to increase the confidence of class VII students in SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya which are valid, practical, and effective. The research method uses ADDIE research design and research models, consisting of (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were 32 students of class VII.1 in Indralaya 1 Public Middle School. The media development research instrument uses interviews, questionnaires, tests (pre test and post test). To find out the validity of the media, it was tested by material experts and media experts with comments and suggestions worthy of testing with revisions as suggested. The practicality of the media was obtained from interviews and questionnaires aimed at students during individual trials and field trials. The results of individual trials obtained an average percentage of 88.88% with a very practical assessment category, field trials obtained an average percentage of 88.33% with a very practical assessment category. The effectiveness of the media by using the guidance material test (post test) at the time of the field trial obtained the largest percentage in the analysis was 86% in the high category. This shows that audio-visual media on classical services with material increases self-confidence can be used by Guidance and Counseling teachers and can provide an effect of understanding and prevention of self-confidence.
