- The problem in this study is the lack of education and skills of mothers who are empowered to support the family economy. The purpose of this study was to find out the process of women's empowerment through empowerment carried out by PKK mothers, namely making pengsongket and beads and to find out the causal factors and existing support in women's empowerment through the PKK in Prabumulih Timur District in Smart Houses. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to see various conditions of social reality that exist in the community. Determination of informants in this study using a purposive procedure using a key person totaling seven people. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Analyzed using data codification analysis techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are looking at the process of empowering women by using five stages, namely preparation, assessment, alternative planning stages of the program or activity, the formulation stage of the action plan, the implementation phase of the program or activity (implementation).
