DETERMINAN PENURUNAN FUNGSI PENDENGARAN PADA PEKERJA DI CV ALUMUNIUM MANDIRI PALEMBANG TAHUN 2019

- CV Alumunium Mandiri stamp Gajah is a cauldron and stove manufacturing plant which has been operating since 1990. The use of noisy machinery and the condition of an old machine in the production process at CV Alumunium Mandiri can cause high noise and is added to the number of machines more than 5 machines for the crock and priok production process. This study aims to analyze the determinants of functional decline in workers in CV Alumunium Mandiri Palembang in 2019. This research is a descriptive analytic study with cross sectional design. The sample used in this study were all workers in CV Mandiri Aluminum Palembang in 2019 as many as 40 people. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling. Data analysis in this study was done univariately and bivariately using the chi square test, fisher exact. Variables related to hearing loss in the form of noise intensity (p-value: 0.026), duration of exposure (p-value: 0.026), age (p-value: 0,000), years of service (p-value: 0,000), and unrelated use of personal protective equipment (p-value: 0,174). It can be concluded that the noise intenstas, exposure time, age, working period are determinants of hearing loss in workers at CV Alumnium Mandiri Palembang in 2019. It is expected that CV CV Mandiri Palembang will place the Genarator Set (genset) outside the room of thought in order to reduce noise sources which exists
