  • The purpose of the study to described persuasion in the 2019 election campaign props at the Kelurahan Siring Agung Palembang. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This study used match method to analyzing. The steps are (1) identified the word and sentence in election campaign props, The subject in this study is the persuasion in the from of the props election campaign, (2) explained the meaning of persuasion in each word or sentence that found in the props election campaign, (3) classificated the persuasion techniques that used in the props election campaign. These persuasion techniques are rationalization techniques, identification techniques, and suggestion techniques, and (4) make the conclusion. The results of the study are (1) persuasion techniques that used on Billboards are: 2 rationalization techniques, 16 indentification techniques, and 22 suggestion techniques. (2) persuasion techniques that used on banner are: 4 identification techniques, and 6 suggestion techniques. This study can be implicated in Indonesian language learning in junior high school.
