- The distribution of electric power in the electric power system is certainly experiencing power and voltage losses, one of which is the influence of channel parameters such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, and conductance. The calculation of electrical power losses needs serious attention because this is related to the loss of electrical power losses along the distribution channel. In this context the author uses a literature study research methodology and data collection, with a case example of power losses and stresses on the East City GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) Paddle PT. PLN ULTG (Substation Transmission Service Unit) Tragi Boom Baru Palembang. So that the total power losses and voltage on paddle feeders are 0.1301 Watts and 0.0816%. So that the calculation shows that the magnitude of the voltage losses on paddle feeders in this GIS still meets the standards of PT PLN which states that the limit of the amount of voltage losses in distribution distribution is 5% (SPLN 72: 1987)
