  • This study aims to prove (1) there is an effect of learning strategies in town meetings on the learning outcomes of students, (2) there is an effect of learning strategies in town meetings on the learning outcomes of students in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. This research method is a type of experimental research that uses a Quasi Experimental design in the form of a Post Test-Only Control Design. The population in this study was all social studies class X at SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. The sample of this study used Cluster Random Sampling, and the selected sample was class X IPS 1 as an experimental class with the total number of the students was 36 students and the class X IPS 2 as a control class of 36 students. Techniques for collecting the data used tests and observations. The hypothesis used parametric statistics that is sample related t-test and obtained t count 3.60> t table 1.116 then Ha hypothesis was accepted and Ho was rejected. Then it can be concluded that there is an influence of the City Meeting Strategy on the learning outcomes of students in economic subjects at 19 Palembang High School. It is recommended that in the learning process take place it is expected that students can work together to solve problems and provide responses that have been made by the teacher in order to achieve the desired learning goals.
