- School is one means to educate the nation's children. Schools are expected to meet the needs of the community in the field of education. Too many schools in a deserted neighborhood can result in the closing of a number of schools due to a lack of student and community interest, while too few schools can lead to overloaded students due to high public interest and insufficient school capacity. Selection of Primary School location is needed so that the distance traveled by the students to the School is not too far away and students not only pile up on the excellent schools only. This location selection uses a p-Median model solved with branch and bound solver on Lingo 13.0 and Heuristic Myopic Algorithm. The results of the calculation concluded that after the implementation of the Zoning system on the New Student Acceptance (PPDB) by the local Education Office with a radius of distance of 1000 meters from the location of the facility, the 23 primary schools in Kemuning Sub-district have been able to meet all the demand points.
