  • Psoriasis is a type of skin disease that sufferers experience the process of skin changes that are too fast. Occurrence of this disease sometimes for a long time or arise. Clinically this disease does not threaten the soul and is not contagious. but in some cases this disease can occur in vital parts of the body so that it can cause complications that can cause death. The purpose of this study is to create a system that can function as a medium to get early diagnoses for sufferers. In this study, an expert system was built to diagnose psoriasis skin diseases using the Dempster-Shafer method. Dempster-Shafer is one of the methods of verification by looking at the value of belief functions and plausible reasoning, then calculating the value of trust in symptoms that are owned by the patient so that it will produce a diagnosis of the disease. This study uses 50 test cases with an accuracy of 90%.
