- This research is entitled "The Role of KH. Muhammad Amin Azhari (Kyai Aming Check) In the Spreading of Islam in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu in 1950-1999 (Contribution of Material to Islamic History Courses in Indonesia)". The problem of this research was how was the role of KH Muhammad Amin Azhari (Kyai Cek Aming) in the spreading of Islam in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu in 1950-1999, how was the role of KH. Muhammad Amin Azhari (Kyai Cek Aming) in the social sector and how was the development of the Najahiyah foundation. This research was conducted to determine the role of KH. Muhammad Azhari (Kyai Cek Aming) in the spreading of Islam in Kelurahan 3-4 Ulu in 1950-1999 and to find out about the role of K.H Muhammad Amin Azhari (Kyai Cek Aming) in the social. This thesis research used historical methods namely Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation and Historiography. This study used a multidisciplinary approach to science such as the sociology approach, and the religious approach. The results of this study indicated KH. Muhammad Amin Azhari (Kyai Cek Aming) had various roles, namely as an ulama, as a judge, as an expert in falaq, he was also active in the Nahdatul Ulama organization. In the social sector, he plays a role in leading tahlilan, marriage, circumcision and marhabanan events, besides that he also had a business charity idea which was engaged in education, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Najahiyah.
