- This research entitled “PT Bukit Asam Role in Educational Development in Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim Regency in 2006-2018 (Material Contribution in Educational History Course University of Sriwijaya)”. The problems in this research are how the role of PT Bukit Asam in educational development in Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim Regency in 2006-2018 and how the development of Bukit Asam Senior High School, Bukit Asam Vocational School and Bukit Asam Integrated Early Childhood Education in 2006-2018. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of PT Bukit Asam in educational development in Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim Regency in 2006-2018 and the development of Bukit Asam Senior High School, Bukit Asam Vocational School and Bukit Asam Integrated Early Childhood Education in 2006-2018. This research method used historical method namely Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation and Historiography. In this research, the researcher uses multi-disciplinary approaches to science such as the sociology approaches. The results of this research show that This mining company has a very significant role in the educational development in Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim Regency. PT Bukit Asam Tbk provides assistance in form Scholarships, school facilities and infrastructure. PT Bukit Asam Tbk establishes Bukit Asam Foundation. This foundation houses 3 educational institutions namely Bukit Asam Senior High School, Bukit Asam Vocational School and Bukit Asam Integrated Early Childhood Education.
