FAKTOR RISIKO KELUHAN IRITASI MATA PADA PENGGUNA KOLAM RENANG LUMBAN TIRTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2019

- Pool using chlorination as a sanitary method for keeping the pool water quality to be maintained. According to PERMENKES RI No. 32 2017 levels of residualchlorine and pH are allowed in the pool water is (1-1,5)mg/L and 7-7,8.as a disinfectant, chlorine residual and pH in water supply deliberately maintained. The purpose of this research is to analyze correlation of risk factors to eye irritation complaints in users of the Lumban Tirta Palembang swimming pool. This study applied analythic with cross sectional design.The respondent population used was all daily visitors at the Lumban Tirta Palembang swimming pool. The samples were 61 swimming pool users. They were taken by incidental random sampling technique. The data were analyzed univariate and bivariate by using chi square test. The data was presented in table form and naration to interpret it. The results of this research 53 users (86.9%)had eye irritation. The rest of chlorine waseligible on regulation of minister Health No. 416 year 1990 with 0.2-0.5 mg / L. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there were significant correlation between chlorine residual content and eye irritation , with p value (0.017) <0.05 and PR 1,286 (95% CI: 1.080-1.531). There were significant correlation between pH of pond water and eye irritation complaints, with a p value (0.002) <0.05 and PR 1.644 (95% CI: 1.016-2,662). There was no significant correlation between the durationand the use of swimming goggleswith eye irritation complaint.The conclusion of this study shows that exposure to residual chlorine levels and pH of swimming pool water that does not meet the requirements based onPERMENKES RI No. 32 2017 users experience eye irritation complaints.Swimming pool users were appealed to keep themselves celan and quality of pond water to avoid eye irritation.
