  • This study examines "the use of social media facebook to form public opinion in the 2019 presidential election (Study on 2019 Presidential Change Account)." The purpose of this research is to find out how social media facebook is used in forming public opinion in the 2019 presidential election. Research methods used are used in this study is a qualitative research method.In determining the informants of this study using a purposive aiming to get more detailed information in accordance with the researcher's problem.The research strategy used is content analysis using the Mass Communication theory from Harold Lasswell. The results of this study indicate that 2019 Presidential Change account seeks to lead public opinion to facebook account 2019 Change the President seeks to lead public opinion to choose Prabowo-Sandi in the 2019 presidential election which is indicated by the many posts that favor the Prabowo-Sandi pair and vice versa many also posts that strongly criticized the Jokowi government.
