  • The improvement of healthcare service quality would have an impact on revisit of patients in need of dental treatment. Patient satisfaction influences the recall of patients to seek dental treatment provided by operator. The purpose of this study was to see the comparison of patient satisfaction levels with tooth extraction services by dentist and dental co-assistant in the Rumah Sakit Khusus Gigi dan Mulut Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. The type of this study was observational analytical cross sectional method. The study was conducted to patients with tooth extraction by dentist and dental co-assistant in Rumah Sakit Khusus Gigi dan Mulut Provinsi Sumatera Selatan in total of 224 patients. The result showed that the average of dental satisfaction level by dentist was 7,25 and dental co-assistant was -1,74, with p value = 0,001 (p>0,005). It could be concluded that there was a significant difference of dental satisfaction level in patients with tooth extraction by dentist and dental co-assistant in Rumah Sakit Khusus Gigi dan Mulut Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.
