PENGARUH LAMA MASA INKUBASI TEHADAP KANDUNGAN NUTRISI PADA SILASE TOTAL MIXED FIBER DENGAN PEMBERIAN ADITIF SODIUM DIASETAT

- Silage Processes will increase the storage time of Total Mixed Fiber (TMF). The aim of this research was to obtain optimum incubation period of TMF silage with sodium diacetate addition. The research was held from March to June 2018 in Animal Feed and Nutrition Laboratorium of Animal Science Department, Agriculture Faculty of Universitas Sriwijaya. Complete randomized designed (CRD) of 3 treatments and 3 replications were applied to this research. The treatments were P1 (21 days of incubation period), P2 (30 days of incubation period), P3 (45 days of incubation period). Observered parameters were dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, ether extract, and crude fiber. The results indicated that incubation period treatments were not effect (P>0.05) the nutrition quality of TMF silage. It is concluded that incubation period of TMF silage may up to 45 days with 31,17% dry matter, 86,62% organic matter, 12,65% crude protein, 8,07% ether extract and 27,17% crude fiber.
