  • The research area is located in Teladas and Kertadewa Villages, Rawas Ulu District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province, which is tectonically located in the western part of the South Sumatra Basin. The purpose of this research was to interpret geomorphology, the distribution of lithology, geological structures, and special studies that focused on sandstone diagenesis in a formation. The method used is field observation (observation of morphological aspects, lithology, geological structure, and sandstone diagenesis), laboratory analysis (petrography and paleontology), and the studio stage. The geomorphological research area is composed of three landform units namely Denudational Hills (PD), Intrusion Hill (BI), and Curvaceous River (SB). Stratigraphy is composed of 3 units of Late Miocene-Plistocene formation in the form of Muaraenim Formation (Tmpm), granite intrusion of Granite Seblat (Tpgr), and Kasai Formation (Qtk). The geological structure in the research area is right vertical fault . Sandstone diagenesis results based on petrographic analysis in general minerals in rocks have burial diagenesis (mesogenesis).
