  • This study aims to determine the communication strategies used by BKKBN in the implementation of the Family Planning Program in Sei Selayur Kalidoni Palembang city with local communities. Data and information in this study are obtain by in-depth interview method, non-participatory observation, documentation and analyze descriptively. From the results of the study, it isconclude that there are five communication strategies use by BKKBN in the implementation of Family Planning programs in Sei Selayur village, Kalidoni sub-district. First by selecting several communicators, second specifying the message content and frequency of message delivery. Third, choosing the best media facilities such as direct face to face media, print media, and social media. Fourth, deciding the target or communicant based on the results of the survey conducted by BKKBN.The last, to see the result from the communication and interaction activities carried out during the communication process.
