PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN TERUNG (Solanum melongena L.) YANG DIBERI PUPUK KANDANG KOTORAN AYAM DAN PUPUK PHOSPAT

- This research aimed to determine the effect of Chicken manure and Phosphate fertilizer dosages application on the growth and yield of eggplants. The study was conducted in November 2018 until January 2019 at the experimental field of Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University. Method used in this research was Factorial Randomized Block Design with 9 treatments and 3 replications, comprising of 27 treatment units. Each treatment unit consisted of 3 plants which total up to 81 plants. There were two factors, the first factor consisted of 3 treatments of chicken manure they were; a dose of 10 tons ha-1 (A1), 20 tons ha-1 (A2) and 30 tons ha-1 (A3). The second factor consisted of 3 treatments of phosphate fertilizer, they were 30 kg ha-1 (P1), 45 kg ha-1 (P2) and 60 kg ha-1 (P3). Based on the result should that chicken manure and phosphate fertilizer could not increase the growth an yield of eggplant plants, even though in tabulation the best results was found in the treatment of chicken manure with a dose of 20 ton ha-1 and phospate fertilizer 45 kg ha-1 (A2P2) which is 9,87 tons ha-1.
