  • Research and development of learning modules for anecdote texts in class X of SMA N 10 Palembang with contextual provisions aims to produce teaching materials in the form of modules that can be used by teachers and students to support the learning process. The research method used is development research with Sugiyono's development research steps which include: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. Validation was carried out by three expert lecturers by assessing aspects of content, language and graphics. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and validation sheets. The results of the study showed that the aspects of content eligibility and presentation obtained a score of 21 from a maximum score of 25 and categorized very well. Language feasibility scores 18 from a maximum score of 20 and is categorized very well. Integrity gets a score of 19 from a maximum score of 25 and is categorized as good. Based on the results of the study, module is feasible. Keywords: development research, modules, write anecdote text.
