KETIDAKADILAN GENDER DALAM NOVEL TARIAN BUMI KARYA OKA RUSMINI DAN IMPLIKASINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA

- The purpose of this study is to describe gender injustice in female characters contained in the novel Tarian Bumi by Oka Rusmini. The method used in analyzing the novel Tarian Bumi by Oka Rusmini uses a descriptive qualitative method with an ideological feminist literary criticism approach. The object of research is gender injustice in the novel Tarian Bumi by Oka Rusmini published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama. Data collection techniques in this study used the note taking technique. Data analysis techniques using content analysis techniques. Results: (1) Marginalization of women found in the novel Tarian Bumi by Oka Rusmini. (2) The subordination of women experienced by the characters in the story is a form of injustice experienced by women. (3) The stereotype of women experienced by Ida Ayu Sagra Pidada Luh Sekar, and Luh Dalem, namely the stereotypes of women who obey the will of parents and the stereotypes of women in weak positions. (4) Violence against women experienced by figures of Luh Dalem, Luh Dampar, Luh Kendran, Luh Sekar, Ida Ayu Sagra Pidada, and Luh Kambren. (5) The workload of selling jaje uli, cakes made from sticky rice is experienced by Luh Gumbreg. The implication in the study of literature in high school class XII in the even semester in curriculum 2013 related to analyzing novels with basic competencies 3.11 analyzing messages from a fiction book that is read and 4.11 Composing a review of messages from fiction items read in the novel. Research suggestions for learning in schools is to find out the values contained in the novel Tarian Bumi by Oka Rusmini. Keywords: Gender Injustice, Tarian Bumi Novel, Criticism of Feminism Literary.
