- Value stream mapping is a method of mapping production flow and information flow to produce one product or one product family, which is not only each work area, but at the level of total production and identifies activities that are value added and non value added. Previous research conducted on outpatient health care professionals found that 16,8% value added and 81,47% non value added from total outpatient services. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with the research design used is cross sectional with the sample is the outpatient health center visitors coming from 3 locations of the Palembang City Health Center Work Area. The data analysis is done descriptively which is explained in the form of narration and picture. Univariate results found that 79% of respondents were women at the Public Health Center of Dempo while 90% at the Public Health Center of Merdeka and Public Health Center of Pembina . The value added in each Public Health Center is 64% in Public Health Center of Dempo, 70% in Public Health Center of Merdeka, while 59% in Public Health Center of Pembina. It can be concluded that outpatient services at the Public Health Center are still in the unlean enterprise category. So it is suggested to the Public Health Center to apply the concept of Lean Healthcare, especially in outpatient services and analyze the workload.
