- LUSI ANGGRAINI. The Hatching of Striped Catfish Eggs (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) at Different Temperatures Media (Supervised by MOCHAMAD SYAIFUDIN and YULISMAN). The temperatures is one of environmental factors which affect hatching time with embryo and larvae development. The purposes of the study were to know the best temperatures of eggs striped catfish based on the hatching percentage and survival rate of 14 days rearing. This research was conducted at the Basic Fisheries Laboratory Aquaculture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University in February-March 2019. The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications at different temperatures media i.e P0 (control), P1 (27±0.5oC), P2 (29±0.5oC), P3 (31±0.5oC). Parameters that had been observed were the hatching time, hatching percentage, percentage of normal larvae, survival rate of larvae and water quality. The result showed that different temperatures significantly effected the hatching time, hatching rate, percentage of normal larvae and survival rate of larvae. The temperatures P3 (31±0.5oC) was the fastest of hatching time (27.47 hour). The temperatures P2 (29±0.5oC) was the best treatment for hatching percentage (84.33%), percentage of normal larvae (96.81%) and survival rate (84.94%). The water quality indicated that pH (6.2-7.5), Dissolved Oxygen (5.0-5.8 mg.L-1) and NH3 (0.02-0.11 mg.L-1), were still in tolerance for hatching and larvae rearing.
