HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI PADA SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA

- This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between students perceptions about parenting style and self-confidence in 8th grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya, South Sumatera. The sample of this study were 69 people from 221 populations by using Simple Random Sampling. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach by using a correlational analysis method. The data collection technique use in this study is Likert scale with five alternative answers. Based on data analysis, T-count was obtained at 0.631, which means that the correlations between the two variables, namely students perceptions of parenting style and self-confidence, was fairly strong, and had a positive and significant relationship (T-count is 0.631 and T-table is 0.236), where Ho is reject and Ha is accepted
