  • THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE ON EMPLOYEE WORK DISCIPLINE AT GOVERNMENT TOURISM OFFICE PALEMBANG This research aimed to investigate the impact of leadership style on employee's work discipline. Government tourism office Palembang is chosen as the object of the research. The population in this research amounted to 102 employee’s and sampling using purposive sampling and the number of respondents 45 non-ASN servant employee’s. The result shows that leadership style has a significant impact on emplpyee’s work discipline. Needless to say, it is beneficial for the head of the government to use a situasional leadership style that suits his type of employee’s. This research is useful for the head of the Department of tourism to use a leadership style that is approporiate to the type of employee’s, namely the maturity level of the non-ASN (M1) and (M2) employee’s, the leadership style that must be used namely (S1) and (S2).
