- The purposes of this research are 1). Analyzing the social capital conditions of wetland paddy farmers in Rambutan Subdistrict 2). Analyzing the performances of wetland paddy farmers in Rambutan Subdistrict and 3). Analyzing the relationship between social capital and the performance of wetland paddy farmers in Rambutan Subdistrict. This research was conducted in Rambutan Subdistrict of Banyuasin Regency. The data collected consist of primary and secondary data. The research method used was the survey method by taking a 60 sample farmers selected by a disproportionate stratified random sampling method from a population of 945 farmers.The results of this research are 1). The condition of social capital of wetland paddy farmers in Rambutan Sub-District is in the medium category with average score of social capital of 24.99. It show the condition of sosial capital in the medium category. 2) The performance of wetland paddy farmers in Rambutan Sub-District is in the medium category with an average productivity of 4 Tons / Ha and an average income of farmers for one year of Rp. 27,119,593.65. 3) Social capital have a real relationship with the performance of wetland paddy farmer in Rambutan Sub-District with the results of data analysis using the Spearman rank correlation which show a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.773 which means there is a strong level of relationship between social capital with the performance of wetland paddy farmers in Rambutan Sub-District.
