  • The purposes of this research is to: 1) describe the factors that affect the IP 100 and IP 200’s paddy production, 2) comparing the amount of difference in the productivity of IP 100 and IP 200’s wetland, 3) comparing the magnitude of the income of IP 100 and IP 200’s swamp rice farming. This research was conducted in Pudak Village, Kumpeh Ulu Sub-District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The method that used in this research is survey whereby the respondents are IP 100 and IP 200 farmer that interviewed with systematic questions that have been listed in the questionnaire. The samples in this study were IP 100 and IP 200 farmers whos living in Pudak Village that pulled with disproportionate stratified random sampling. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Primary data is processed with tabulation process using Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPPS Vers. 22. Swamprice farming of IP 100 is implemented in the middle to the center of swamp, while IP 200 is carried out in the shallow swamp. The result of this research showed that the factors that real-affecting the production of swamp-land farm is area of land, seed, fertilizer, pesticides, labor, and cropping index. There is a very noticeable difference between the productivity of IP 100 and IP 200 in each planting season. IP 100’s land productivity is about 3,21 ton/hectare/year, and IP 200’s land productivity is about 9,81 ton/hectare/year. There is a very noticeable difference between the revenues of IP 100 and IP 200swamp rice farming, IP 100’s revenue is about Rp 6.897.539,46/hectare/year and IP 200’s revenue is about Rp 27.376.790,3/hectare.year.
