  • The problem in this study was how to develop e-books based on calibre application on the economic material of tenth grade students of MAN 2 Palembang that was valid, practical, and had a potential effect on students' learning outcomes. This study was motivated by the problem of the less optimal use of books and learning media in the learning process. This study aimed to produce e-books based on the calibre application on economic material of tenth grade students of MAN 2 Palembang that was valid, practical, and had a potential effect on students' learning outcomes. The development was carried out using the Rowntree development model. The evaluation was done using the Tessmer formative evaluation method. Data was collected through walkthroughs, a questionnaire, and a test. The results showed that the validity of the media was 78.46% with a valid category, and the material was 94% with a very valid category. The practicality score at the one-to-one evaluation stage was 90.93% with a very practical category, and the small group stage was 85.24% with a very practical category. The potential effect on students' learning outcomes measured in the Field Test was 0.7 with a high category. In brief, the product in the form of e-book based on the calibre application on the economic material of even semester of tenth grade students which has been developed was already valid, practical, and had a potential effect on students' learning outcomes. It is suggested that students are able to utilize more the e-book based on calibre application on the economic material of tenth grade students to optimize their learning outcomes.
