  • Palembang Makrayu Health Center is a health agency in charge of providing health services to the community. In order to improve service quality, the Makrayu Palembang Health Center needs a business strategy using information technology. This is needed to streamline a number of processes, such as medical treatment registration, patient data management, consultation, and media suggestions and criticism and to establish close relationships with patients in the face of rapid advances in information technology, as well as in providing the latest information that is quick and easy for patients. In order to achieve this goal, researchers used the methodology of developing the Waterfall Model system. This research offers a health information system model that is integrated into supporting software that can be used to create fast, relevant and sustainable services to patients. The system built is a web-based information system and its manufacture uses an amount of software such as Notepad ++, MySQL and Xampp. The implementation of this Health Information System can help the Makrayu Palembang Health Center in providing the latest information to patients, simplifying the process of medical treatment registration and medical record data, streamlining communication with patients through consultation and online criticism and suggestions.
