APLIKASI METODE ELEKTROLISIS UNTUK PEMISAHAN LOGAM TIMBAL (Pb) DAN KADMIUM (Cd) DALAM AIR LINDI
Daftar Isi:
- A research on the separation of lead and cadmium metals using the electrolysis method has been conducted. The results obtained the decomposition potential of lead metals is 2.2 volts and cadmium metals is 2.7 volts. The optimum conditions produced for the separation of lead metal and cadmium metal at 120 minutes and electrode distance is 1 cm with deposition weight of 0.4932 g for lead metal and 0.1751 g for cadmium metal. The electrolysis method successed separating lead metal and cadmium metal in a mixture solution of Pb(NO3)2 and CdCl2 with different concentrations. Separation of lead metal and cadmium metal using the electrolysis method had the smallest concentration limit that can be measured in the amount 1×10-4 M and 7×10-4 M. Leachate in Sukawinata Landfill Palembang had a concentration below the smallest concentration limit of the electrolysis method so that lead metals and cadmium metals can not be detected.
