PENGEMBANGAN MANAJEMEN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ECONOMIC ORDER QUANTITY (EOQ) PADA TOKO JAYA MITRA SEJAHTERA

- This research is motivated by the results of observations and research at Jaya Mitra Sejahtera Store, that the stock of goods available (cement) is often not in accordance with the amount needed and the costs allocated to procure inventory are very large, making it inefficient. This study aims to (1) Determine the inventory system at Jaya Mitra Sejahtera Store using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, (2) Evaluate the inventory system at Jaya Mitra Sejahtera Store in order to obtain an optimal inventory system. This research is descriptive research. The object of this research is the supply of cement raw materials, while the subject of this study is Jaya Mitra Sejahtera Store. The analysis technique used is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The results of this study can be concluded as follows: (1) In controlling the joints, Jaya Prosperous Prosperous Stores have not implemented specific methods such as the EOQ method, so that there are still often delays in ordering raw materials and the costs incurred are not efficient. (2) The EOQ method provides the most optimal order quantity by issuing a cost per period on goods (cement) of Rp. 49,626,078. whereas without using the EOQ method of Rp. 70,441,666. (3) If this EOQ method is applied to Jaya Mitra Sejahtera Store, the savings obtained are Rp. 20,815,588. Therefore, the EOQ method should be applied to Jaya Mitra Sejahtera Store in the inventory system.
