- ABSTRACT This study examines the phenomenon of married couples in maintaining family integrity and changes in economic conditions in migrant woekers in the District of Teluk Gelam OKI Regency. This study aims to determine what efforts made in maintaining family integrity and changes in economic conditions. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation with case study research strategies. As for the number of informants in this study amounted to 10 people, the determination of informants in this study by purposive way. This study uses Talcott Parsons theory, namely Structural Funcitional. The results of the study found that efforts to maintain the integrity of the family in a married couple in the District of Teluk Gelam : First, foster mutual trust in a married couple. Second, continec to carry out roles and obligations in the family. Third, communicate in order to create harmony in the family. As for changes in economic conditions in the married couple based on work, income, type of residence and ownership, the average has increased, or it can be said of the married cople in the sub-District of Teluk Gelam, OKI Regency, experiencing an increase towards a better than before.
