- Rubber is one of the main plantation commodities in Indonesia, it is not surprising that there is a lot of development and research carried out on this plant, to accommodate these activities, it is necessary to have a place in the form of a research center engaged in the field of rubber plants , but the number of rubber research centers that are still very small and do not reach remote areas makes the slow pace of knowledge and information evenly spread, with the existence of rubber research centers in Banyuasin, Pangkalan Balai, people and experts in the field of rubber can use it as a forum for development and research on rubber, because of its location which is close to the settlement, knowledge and information will more quickly reach the community, through it is expected that the quality or production of rubber will improve, and human resources will also increase. The concept of Architectural Ecology with local elements is applied as a form of attitude towards the condition of the area in Banyuasin which is still beautiful, thus minimizing the negative impact of buildings to the site site, and the application of local architectural elements as a link between the building and the surrounding community.
