  • This study aims to determine the student’s mathematical representations abilities after learning using the PMRI through LSLC is done approach to the material of addition and substraction in fraction in class VII. This type of research is descriptive. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.X Junior High School 1 Palembang amounting to 32 students. Data collectin techniques used were observations, giving test questions amounted to 3 questons in the form of descriptions, and interviews. After doing research, the result showed that student’s mathematical reasoning abilities of students class VII.X in material of addition and substractions in fraction has emerged even though there are still students who do not show indicators of their mathematical representation abilities. The indicator that appears the most is the indicator solve the problem with mathematical expressions on questions number 1 and 2.
