- In health service institutions such as hospitals have one of the human resources, namely nurses. Central General Hospital (RSUP) Dr. Mohammad Hoesin is a government-owned public hospital in the city of Palembang that serves a variety of health services. Every year, this hospital routinely holds the selection of exemplary nurses as a form of recognition and appreciation for the dedication and performance of nurses who have good quality work. However, in the process of evaluating exemplary nurse candidates, they still use paper form assessments so as to enable the accumulation or loss of documents due to the absence of a database as data storage. In addition, the large number of nurses' choices in each work unit to be nominated as exemplary nurses makes it difficult for evaluators to compare values between nurses, especially if there are several values that have the closest value or close to the similarity results, thus making decisions based on individual assessors only. For this reason, it is necessary to build a decision support system using the MOORA method to calculate the criteria for evaluating prospective nurse candidates. The results of this research in the form of an application that can help the hospital in selecting the prospective nurse candidates and provide recommendations for the hospital in determining the appropriate nurses to be selected as exemplary nurse through the MOORA method.
