  • This research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to find out the mathematical thinking aspects representation of 11th grade students with Problem Based Learning (PBL) models on geometrical sequences and series. The subject of this research is the students of 11 science 1 of Senior High School 1 Indralaya Utara. The results showed mathematical thinking aspects of student representation by doing PBL learning on material geometrical sequences and series that were dominantly done by students were visual representation and symbolic representation. While mathematical thinking aspects of student representation that sometimes arises is algebraic representation. The mathematical thinking aspects of representation that rarely appears in students is the numeric representation. This representation is most often done by students in problem number 1 only. This means that the form of the problem also affects students in determining the mathematical thinking aspects of the representation used.
