HUBUNGAN PROFIL HEMATOLOGI DENGAN LUARAN PASCAKEMOTERAPI FASE INDUKSI PADA ANAK LEUKEMIA LIMFOBLASTIK AKUT
Daftar Isi:
- Introduction: Leukemia is an uncontrolled proliferation of precursor leukocytes obtained from various hematopoietic cells and abnormal differentiation that can cause failure in children. The induction phase is one of the important factors in the success of LLA therapy by achieving remission. One of them is the hematological profile of the patient when LLA was first diagnosed. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between hematological profile and the outcome after induction phase chemotherapy in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Methods: The study was an analytic observational study with a cohort retrospective study design, using secondary data from medical records of hemato-oncology patienst in RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. A sample of 191 subjects was taken by total sampling. Result: 191 subjects in this study consisted of 120 high risk classification and 71 standard classification. In the Chi-square analysis, the results were Hb (p value = 0,909 for standard risk, p value = 0,527 for high risk), leukocyte (p value = 0,086 for standard risk, p value = 0,315 for high risk), and thrombocyte (p value = 0,455 for standard risk, p value = 0,483 for high risk). Conclusion: There was not a significant relationship between hematological profile (Hb, leukocyte and thrombocyte) and the outcome after induction phase chemotherapy. Keywords:Hematological profile, outcome after induction phase chemotherapy, children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia
