Yusup3 1Mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Sriwijaya 2Dosen Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Sriwijaya e-mail: srifebriani60@gmail.com ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa SMP Negeri 3 Palembang terhadap matematika pada pembelajaran dengan penerapan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs), jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif . Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari dua jenis instrumen, yakni angket dan wawancara semi struktur dengan berpedoman pada indikator sikap terhadap matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.8 SMP Negeri 3 Palembang yang berjumlah 34 siswa yang terdiri dari 20 siswa perempuan dan 14 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VII.8 SMP Negeri 3 Palembang menunjukkan sikap yang positif terhadap matematika setelah diterapkan Model Eliciting ACtivitie (MEAs). Yusup3 1Mathematics Education Student, Sriwijaya University 2Lecturer in Mathematics Education Department, Sriwijaya University e-mail: srifebriani60@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the attitudes of students of Palembang State Junior High School 3 towards mathematics in learning by applying the Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs), this type of research is a quantitative descriptive study.The research instrument consisted of two instruments, namely questionnaire and semi-structured interviews guided by indicators of attitudes towards mathematics. The method of analysis of research is a method of quantitative analysis to analize the result of student questionnaire attitudes towards mathematics. The research subjects were VII.8 grade students of state Junior High school 3 Palembang, totaling 34 students consisting of 20 female students and 14male students. The results showed that the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Palembang showed a positive attitude towards mathematics after applying the Elititing Model Activity (MEAs).
