- SUMMARY This study is entitled "Agrarian Conflicts in Coffee Farming Communities (In Muara Danau Village, Semende Darat Laut District, Muara Enim Regency)". The problem formulation are a picture of agrarian conflicts that exist in coffee farming communities, and conflict resolution by the Government but the conflict in coffe farming community hasn't been resolved yet. The research objective are to analyze the picture of agrarian conflicts that exist in the coffee farming community and to analyze the conflict resolution process in the coffee farming community in Muara Danau that has not been resolved. The method used in this research are descriptive qualitative research method, research’s focus about how to describe the conflict process and conflict resolution. The technique of determining informants is purposive, while the number of informants in this study is divided into 2 supporting informants and 6 key informants. Data collection techniques carried out in 3 ways, which are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that the agrarian conflict that occurred in Muara Danau Village was in the form of a conflict that was proven by the community working on protected forests as their coffee plantations, after that the government clarified the boundaries and followed up by deploying officials to guard the location of the plantation, and causing community’s coffee plantation activities totally paralyzed. Conflict resolution carried out by the government to handle conflicts, is a social forestry program, with the utilization zone inside, which contains 260 hectares that can be utilized by the community with a division, that is 1 Ha one family, for 35 years and reviewed every 5 years. This solution finally can be accepted by the community as a way out of this Agrarian conflict. . Keywords: Agrarian Conflict, Conflict Resolution, Coffee Farmers.
