- The selection of Putra – Putri SMA Negeri 8 Palembang is one of the activities that is a place for young people in the school environment, especially SMA Negeri 8 Palembang to develop the potential of their students. In the selection process, it is difficult to compare scores between participants because there are no equal assessment standards and the weight of the assessment on selection. This raises the element of subjectivity assessment to the participants making it difficult for the selection committee in making decisions to determine which is best. In this study a decision support system was built using the MOORA method as a tool for calculating the assessment and producing the best finalist recommendations in the selection of finalists for SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. This research was developed using the SPK development method. The final result of this study is the application of decision support systems for the selection of Finalist Putra-Putri SMA Negeri 8 Palembang based on the website.
