- Knowledge management system is an information system that is applied to manage knowledge within an organization or company, is an information technology-based system developed to support and prioritize knowledge creation, knowledge storage / retrieval, transfer of knowledge (knowledge storage/ retrieval), knowledge transfer), and knowledge applications (knoweledge application) in organizations or companies to improve the performance of the organization or company. PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk is a state-owned company engaged in coal mining in Indonesia, each employee in the Production Operations Optimization (OOP) division must have extensive knowledge because the Production Operations Optimization (OOP) section is closely related to production results coal mining. The use of Web 2.0 is very appropriate to be applied to build a Knowledge Management system that is assisted by social software tools namely Wiki and using the Concept of Gamification. Wiki is a web page created using a wiki engine that allows the bottom-up editing process, where users can delete, edit , and add content and concepts from Gamification that help leaders see contributions and assess employee activity in conducting Knowledge Sharing. The development method that will be carried out is the "Wiki's selection and implementation framework", with the help of the MediaWiki tools provided by the wiki, many features allow users to collaborate and interface that is quite familiar to the user, this KMS is expected to help build quality HR in company.
