- This study aims to identify and assess the system of contract farming and palm oil trade system with the management of post-RSPO and who do not yet have RSPO certificates Assessing the chances of institutional changes in oil palm plantations in both sites. Research results show that the form of contract farming is conducted farmers, both in layer 1 and layer 2 with the company through a capital tie-core is a preliminary form of a loan for an initial investment of oil palm plantations and production facilities, marketing and production cooperation contract (TBS), and generally did not find any significant problems. Logistic regression model estimation results show that the opportunities for farmers to choose the cooperative as marketing agencies will be even greater with higher levels of formal education of farmers and if farmers become cooperative members.
