  • ABSTRACT SAMUEL PRIBADI. The Performance Test of Cassava Cutters at Various Blade Rotation Speed (Supervised by TRI TUNGGAL and ENDO ARGO KUNCORO). The reaserch objective was to determine the performance test of casava cutters. It was conducted from April to July 2019 at the Machinery Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research used descriptive method, by collecting the data (survey, interview, and engine testing), processing data and analyzing the data. The observed parameters were effective capacity of the engine, the percentage of the uncut material, and power analysis.The result showed value of effective capacity cassava cutters at blade rotation speed 282 rpm, 287 rpm and 292 rpm were 25.127 kg/hours, 30.231 kg/hours and 36.603 kg/hours. The result show value of percentage of the material not cut of at blade rotation speed 282 rpm, 287 rpm and 292 rpm were 8.1%, 9.3% and 10.0%. The result show that values of power at blade rotation speed 282 rpm, 287 rpm and 292 rpm were 0.005 kWh, 0.0023 kWh, and 0.0042 kWh. Keywords : casava, the performance test, casava cutter.
