  • This thesis is entitled "Gender Equality in the Family of Female Lecturers of Sriwijaya University". Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University. This study examines the problem of how forms of gender equality in a female family where women are a female lecturer at Sriwijaya University. The theory used in this study is HARVARD analysis technique or often referred to as Gender Framework Analysis (GFA), researchers use a qualitative research design, data collection is obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data are analyzed qualitatively, the analytical techniques used by researchers are data reduction stages, data presentation stages, and conclusion stages. The results of the study show that there is indeed gender equality in the family of female lecturers at Sriwijaya University, the form of equality here is seen from how there is an activity profile, access profile and control profile in accordance with the theory used. This study also proved that the existence of gender equality in the family of Sriwijaya University lecturers was seen from the division of labor, division of roles, both the role in financial management and the role in caring for children and the distribution of decision making.
