  • PT. Bukit Asam is one of the coal mining companies in Indonesia whose mining activities are carried out using surface mining methods, this research activity is carried out in PIT 3 East of West Banko. Road mining which is 660 m away from disposal has an important role in supporting the productivity of overburden transportation activities. The geometry of the road that does not meet the standards makes the productivity of the conveyance decrease, so that the overburden production target is not achieved which can be seen when the road is traversed by crossing dump trucks HD 465, one of the HD 465 dump trucks must slow down the vehicle or stop on the roadside due to lack of road width in some segments.When it rains there is a puddle of water on the road surface which causes the road to become muddy, this is caused because there is no standard cross slope. The absence of superelevation on the corners, this will cause an accident when the HD 465 dump truck passes the corner. The actual straight width conditions for the A-B, B-C and D-E segments are 13.50 m; 14.20m; and 13.70 m. While the width of the front-A and E-F segment bends is 17 m and 18 m so it needs to be repaired because the standard road width in straight conditions is 14.28 meters and at the bend is 21.34 meters. The overburden haul road grade that exceeds the 8% standard is in the Front-A segment condition of 9.57%, A-B is 10.78% and F-Disposal is 10.71%. The cross slope of the haul road must be made with a standard height difference of 0.29 m. Superelevation that does not meet the standards and requires the addition of a high difference to achieve the standard superelevation between the left and right sides of the road is the Front-A segment of 1.1 m, the E-F segment is 1.5 m. The actual productivity of the HD 465 dump truck in November 2018 was 147,744 Bcm and the theoretical productivity of the HD 465 dump truck in November 2018 was 195,312 Bcm.
