- The purpose of this research are to (1) Analyze the income received by busineeman of catfish shredded in Pudak Village Kumpeh Ulu Sub-Disrict Muaro Jambi Regency, (2) Analyze how much added value obtained from processing catfish become shredded and crackers in Pudak Village Kumpeh Ulu Disrict Muaro Jambi Regency, (3) Analyze the marketing strategy used by entrepreneurs and their constraints in marketing the processed products made from raw catfish especially in Pudak Village Kumpeh Ulu Disrict Muaro Jambi Regency and (4) Analyze the efforts to improve the marketing strategy of processed products made from catfish especially in Pudak Village Kumpeh Ulu Disrict Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used in this research is case study method. Sampling method used in this research is indepth study method by asking all the entrepreneurs about all the activities dobe in processing fresh catfish into shredded and crackers. Sources of data used in this study included primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicated that catfish shredded producers in Pudak Village Kumpeh Ulu Disrict Muaro Jambi Regency used two marketing strategy whuch were mix marketing strategy and SWOT. Total income earned by shredded and crackers carfish producers per month was about Rp15.416.666,67. Based on the calculation of value added analysis that has been done both products produced were able to produce added value. Added value of catfish shredded product was Rp10.667,02 and the added value of the crackers product was Rp12.499,20.
