  • This research was conducted in Departement of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sriwijaya, from May 2017 to September 2017. The research objective was to determine the effect of water application interval on eficiency subsurface drip irrigation and yield of kailan (Brassica oleracea var. Alboglabra). The method used in this research was non-Factorial Randomized Block Design with three treatments and three replications. Treatment factors were irrigation water interval consisting of zero days, one day and two days with 50% morning watering and 50% afternoon according to treatment. The observed parameters were efficiency of water storage, high plant canopy, number of leaves, fresh weight of trim, dry weight of trim and dry weight of roots. Result of this research showed that the highest water storage efficiency was in the treatment of I1 (0 day interval) equivalent to 91.46% - 96.85% and the highest fresh weight was the treatment of I2 (1 day interval) equivalent to 67.69 g. These values were significantly different than that of treatment I1 (0 day interval) and treatment I3 (2 days interval).
