PENGARUH KERAPATAN MANGROVE TERHADAP KELIMPAHAN KEPITING BAKAU (Scylla serrata) DI SUNGAI SOLOK BUNTU DAN SUNGAI BARONG KECIL, TAMAN NASIONAL SEMBILANG, SUMATERA SELATAN

- Mangrove are plants that grow around coastal effected by tides and coastal ecosystem. Crab mangrove is biota which directly interact with mangrove area and have important value economic. Solok Buntu river and Barong Kecil river are the area in mangrove National Park in Sembilang which having zone of different mangrove species. This study aimed to measure density mangrove and counting abundance crab mangroves (Scylla serrata) and assess the influence of density mangrove to abundance crab mangrove. Data mangrove obtained used transek square method with each plot 10x10 square meters (trees), 5x5 square meters (sapling) and 2x2 square meters (seeding). The sample mangrove crab used a catch of a trap bubu (rakkang), which location used purposive sampling. The result showed that species of mangroves in Solok Buntu river were Avicennia alba, Avicennia marina, Avicennia officinalis, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Nypa frutican and Rhizophora apiculata while in the Barong Kecil river were Avicennia alba, Avicennia marina, Avicennia officinalis, Excoecaria agallocha, Bruguiera cylindryca, Bruguiera gymnorhiza and Rhizophora apiculata. Visually seen from comparison mangrove density and the number of the station crab every might be expected no effect.
