ANALISIS VEGETASI HUTAN DI KAWASAN EKSPLOITASI MINYAK TALANG JIMAR KOTA PRABUMULIH SUMATERA SELATAN DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA

- A study of forest vegetation in the area of oil exploitation Talang Jimar Prabumulih city has been done to determine the characteristic of forest vegetation based on its composition and diversity. The sample was collected by making 10 squared plots sized 5 x 5 meters for shrub and bush area, while 1 x 1 meters plots for herbaceous area. 10 plots were randomized by drawing the plots into 5 plots. The plants in those 5 plots were documented, identified, and the diversity value, also calculated. The result showed that arround 27 kinds of plants are in 14 categories. 27 kinds of plant consist of 13 kinds of herbaceous plant is the species Cyperus sp.1 with a value 66,76%, shrubs at 71,66% with is classified as Syzigium sp., and for bush namely Bambusa sp. at 98,29%. The result of this study is expected to be a source of information about the typical vegetation formed in the forest ecosystem of exploitation oil area and to achive K.D 3.9 analyzing information or data from many sources about ecosystem and all interaction occured in it
