PERBEDAAN TINGKAT EMPATI DITINJAU DARI BENTUK-BENTUK CYBERBULLYING YANG DILAKUKAN REMAJA PENGGUNA MEDIA SOSIAL

- This study aims to determine the differences in the level of empathy of adolescent social media users on each form of cyberbullying that is done. The hypothesis ofthis study there is a difference in the level of empathy in 7 forms of cyberbullying (flaming, harassment, denigration, impersonation, outing and trickery, exclusion and cyberstalking) by adolescent social media users. The population of this study were adolescents from age 13 to21 years old who are adolescents who use social media with an unknown amount. The research sample were 150 people and for the try out were 50 people. This study used incidental sampling technique. Empathy and cyberbullying were measured by the scale which refers to the aspects of empathy from Davis (1983) and cyberbullying forms of Willard (2005). The research used kruskalwallis analysis. The results of the kruskal wallis analysis show that there are differences in the level of empathy with the forms of cyberbullying, namely flaming, harassment, denigration, impersonation, outing and trickery, exclusion and cyberstalking with each significance value of 0,000 (p<0,05). Thus the hypothesis is accepted.
